Specifically chosen for this role due to our reputation for having an understanding of the Capital regime within health-care, and given the brief to assist the Trust in securing the resolution of it’s large recurring deficit. We undertook detailed analysis of the Trust’s capital accounts, instigating a downwards revaluation of areas of the Capital estate and were able to reduce its capital charges by £4m-£6m per annum. We also proposed a longer-term property redevelopment plan which would necessitate closure of the existing site and move to new greenfield location.
