CARS now contains a full Lease Register.  To our knowledge, CARS is the only NHS specific product on the market, complying fully with DHSC/Treasury Guidance.  Used in tandem with our Fixed Asset Register, the Lease Register contains everything you need for implementation of IFRS 16 from April 2022.  CARS will continue to be updated to reflect IFRS 16 reporting requirements as they are released, and we believe is the best product on the market for any NHS organisation looking for Lease Register software.  

CARS will apply the correct treatment for the migration of Finance and Operating Leases. It accounts for IFRS 16 Leases, Short Term Leases, Low Value Assets and Peppercorn rents. It has been enhanced for variable lease payments, rent-free periods, reassessment of lease liability, lease modifications and terminating leases.

There is also a full suite of standard reports containing everything you need for Leases for Annual Accounts (TAC00, TAC21 and TAC36 etc).
